yeah it is missleading however I bought it because I dont use the career and it flies and performs great
Everything I bought MSFS, flies free flight, donāt care about Career/Gamer Mode. I for replacing Platforms with PC and PC replacing a lot of things. Apple one half and MS the other lol. The twos AI argues like a 40 year marriage ala the Lucy Show, Honeymooners if anyone remembers it, lol. Good times moving forward in technology.
I had some fun flying Cape Air with the previous version. Is there an upgrade path?
Had the same issue here, also made a ticket on their Discord - havenāt acknowledged it yet so hopefully just busy with the release.
For a quick workaround, if you use the EFB to switch away and back to the Cold & Dark panel state, it seems to solve this issue for that flight (at least in my trials).
Suddenly started getting the same problem despite it working fine before. Every time I flick the Main switch it CTDs. Toggling cold and dark from the EFB fixes the CTD, but for some reason I cannot start the engines after that (seems like the ignition is not bringing up the fuel pressure into the green like it should) 
Either way, always works when starting from the runway or choosing the Ready for Start option in the EFB so can still somehow enjoy it. And itās lovely when it works!
The aircraf is Career mode compatible only if sold through the marketplace. So as long as itās not there itās not āCareer mode readyā. Itās misleading advertising. But Iām not sure if Aerosoft or FlightSim Studio are aware of this, Career mode features usually fly under the radar (pun intended) for many developers.
MP sells AC it works both Free flight and career. No such thing as Career only AC other wise id be pulled from Sale for lack of sales.
Iām quite enjoying it so far but the Electronic Pre Flight Check doesnāt seem to be working.
Looked on Discord but thereās nothing useful to found there ; no bug reports or anything else really.
For me the Career Mode is of no interest and the upgrade price was fair.
For the PFT to work just make sure the engines are warmed up, your RPM is between 1700 and 1800 and click one of the test buttons once, the yellow lights should go on. And then observe the RPM/manifold readings for like 2 minutes. Stuff should be happening and the yellow lights will extinguish once itās done.
I edited my previous comment for clarity. I didnāt mean the aircraft supported Career mode only. I meant an aircraft can support Career mode only if itās sold on the marketplace. Non-marketplace aircraft are not compatible with Career mode. The issue here is that Aerosoftās own webshop advertises the P2012 as āCareer mode readyā, which is not true if itās purchased on that website.
Does this developer not sell their aircraft on the Marketplace?
Yes, theyāre planning to release it on the Marketplace as well. I think it should be available there sometime next week, based on what Iāve seen in the discussions on Discord. Iām waiting for it too.

Just did purchased with v2 from Contrail with discount. But it is crashing the sim for me. When i select it from aicraft menu, instant crash.
Iām having the same problem. As soon as itās selected, the sim crashes to desktop.
Edit: deleted sim cache and shader cache and still crashing.
