Thank you for your comprehensive answer. To be clear, I’m not criticizing, I just want to pay attention to some details so that the plane has an even better impact on the immersion of the flight. Your plane is one of the better made GA planes, congratulations. The sounds of the PZL-104 with the silencer are very well prepared, I just would like to hear the sound without the silencer.
Below is a short presentation of the external sounds of your beautiful work.
I will try to reach the pilots who have the Wilga in active condition. If I figure something out, I’ll let you know.
I think the sound recordings themselves are fine, just the mix / volume balance could use some work on the external model.
When I compare what we have in the sim to what I can hear from videos of the Wilga, I always come the conclusion that in the sim the sounds of the propeller blades are too loud and the sounds of the engine and the exhaust are too low.
Granted, there are muffled and unmuffled versions of the Wilga out there, but even a muffled radial engine is still a radial engine and sounds accordingly. They are loud!
Perhaps I’m wrong, never having heard a Wilga in real life, but I wouldn’t be mad if the balance between the prop and engine sounds could be tipped a little more to the engine side in a future update.
Stunning lil airplane! My Polish bud was like wth is that a crop duster
I said its a tough lil bush/tow plane and it looks, sounds, and flies great. Love the harmonics and audio cables for headphone mode. Nice lil touch. Well done Got Friends! I see they named a City and Airport after Wilga. Cando livery is an instant classic. LOVE the shades lol.
BTW Barn Scenery is very cool. I spent far too much time feeding horses apples and dusting some crops!
Ideas for native MSFS Controls mappings for Bravo switches? I’m on Xbox, so no Axis and Ohs or Spad
Currently using Parking Brake (chocks), Pitot Heat, Set Fuel Pump, Set Panel Lights and Set Cabin Lights. Couldn’t find a way to map the compass gooseneck light, the up-top Starter switch, the Instrument Lights switch, or Radio/ADF switches.
Not the biggest deal, since the upper panel flip-switch party ritual is pretty integral to the whole experience here, but just wondered if anyone else got creative with hardware button mappings in this thing. Feel like I’ve maybe done all I can do.
Why? At first I was enthralled by the idea of a really old and shabby plane and intended to fly the 35. But then I thought, one of those really early birds would be a collector’s item and thus be opposed to the “really shabby” theme. So I switched over to the 80 which I figure would be the most common one out there. I selected the base model since I wanted to keep the weakest engine with the added bonus of being able to mount floats.
Never tried flying any of the X variants, don’t know if I’m missing out but I don’t want GPS on board. So far I only flew the floats version once because of the game’s shameful lack of water runways almost everywhere other than parts of North America.
Not yet sure about which livery I like the most. I’m partial to the CA-NDO, but Novemberdeltaroscar is harder to pronounce than e.g. Papazululima.
Thanks man! I’ve never really been a “screenshot taker” but this plane brings it out of me!!
Yeah I love that hangar door shot too. A bit of intrigue there!! That’s a great scenery by //42 also. I have some of the Willy in the hangar with the camera inside the building but I picked this one to “publish”
Expect more - I’ve already got more actually but don’t want to bore everyone lol
Yeah it’s a shame there aren’t many sea landing sites to make more use of the H, but I do have a bunch of useful mods. Return to Misty Moorings is a good looking set but there are many others. Some by our fellow @MojaveHigh2379 — check his profile on .to!
