[Released] Wing42 Boeing 247D

I don’t have a lot to say right now except this is an incredibly satisfying bird! Everyone is in for a treat. I am pretty confident in saying you will be hard-pressed to find THIS level of simulation for $20 in ANY sim. This is as high-fidelity as it gets. Can you Ctrl-E this? Yes, if you disable realistic simulation features (there is an option on the clipboard). You can disable engine damage and even electrical system failures (those fuses might go out of order sometime, you never know, and yes, they are functional)… Wing42 has simulated just about every system that is within MSFS capability to have simulated.

This is a PRE=RELEASE version, and yes, work continues on this daily! So none of this is 100% final yet, and there are issues being worked out right now, so I won’t report on the STATE of the aircraft until its release. Main things being handled right now actually deal with things like completing the manual and refining the control scheme (or rather, enabling Legacy control scheme instead of just the new Lock system), but the actual heart and soul and simulation are all there and functional… This is “final approach” work being done. I am planning on testing this every day and reporting everything I see to Otmar from Wing42 who was very gracious in allowing me to dive deep into this and provide my feedback. There are some VERY talented people working on this and I am pretty confident everyone will be blown away by how good this is. Back to the 247D flight deck…

I am also gonna take this opportunity to let you guys know that I am in the process of starting a video channel that will be an extension of what I do here on the forums and will provide reviews and analysis of all the aircraft in MSFS world. Yes, I am planning to go back to some of the early releases too and do some quick updates about the state of those add-ons as they stand today as well. More on that later and in separate thread.
