Reno P51 still broken

Hello.

If a product provided by MS/Asobo is broken, and has been for some time, and we’ve paid ■■■■ good money for it…Where do we stand on that?

The P51’s are still broken.

‘Man O War’, you can see the ground textures through the cockpit in external view.

‘bunny’ since day ONE you can still see the cockpit clipping through the fuselage in external view.

‘Miss Virginia’ prop is showing spinning state even when the engine is off.

All P51’s the engines don’t work. You can’t taxi or take off. They’re all BROKEN

This has been an ongoing issue now for months and it’s quite frankly unacceptable. If it’s any other dev, would asobo/ms be chasing them up to fix it? Would they allow this?

It’s absolutely unbelievable that they just let it go on like this.

Still. This module was broken from day 1, and bringing the P-51 into the sim this way was a bit of a shock. And you still can’t fly a working P-51 in the sim. The point is not that they are buggy, the point is that they are STILL buggy…

Yeah, I deleted mine. No sense in having it take up space. I got rid of the Miss Virginia P-51b also. I’m guessing the prop disk bug isn’t going to be fixed on that either. I’m not thrilled about not being able to use something I’ve paid for. But, still love the sim and will be getting 2024 for sure. I just rationalize by figuring that a piece of software this complex is going to have some problems.

Actually the generic Mustang is affected. I have that one, and it won’t run for more than a minute. Engine just quits.

They weren’t originally broken. I flew and tested most or all of them and aside from suffering from cheap aircraft issues (Hobbs meter visible but not working, tons of INOP switches, ugly prop in the case of Mrs Virginia) they did fly fine. Sorta.

I think it was one of the recent updates that somehow severely damaged them. Something that Asobo has been content to ignore for a few months.

Just bought the Red tails liveries I haven’t used the P51 in months.

But its now impossible to take off on most airfields due to the engine cutting out at higher Rpm you cant get the speed up enough for lift off.

Please fix your products Asobo rather than just working on your movie tie-ins
