Replace In-Sim Flight Planning Logic to be the Same as Working Title Web-Based Flight Planning Logic

Please replace the in-sim flight planning logic to utilize the same flight planning logic that Working Title has developed for the web-based flight planner.

It is highly confusing, and odd, that we have two different logics for flight planning and the in-sim version is vastly inferior to that of the new logic developed by Working Title.

See this thread for the discussion and input from Working Title that lead to this wishlish item:

Agree. I have no idea why they are so different, but it really seems like the development was siloed.

I don’t believe replacing is necessary honestly.
How about in addition?
A built in option to use either, as long as they accomplish the same thing.

If they want to extra the workload, that’s up to them

Why keep the original when it isn’t as good? They ditched the Asobo A320 for that reason, and retained the IniBuilds A320.

There are many instances where they have replaced inferior function with improved function, why not in this instance?

Why keep both?

And then the logic of a switch to select between them? With how these sorts of things get implemented it probably won’t remember your setting and then you go through the trouble of flight planning only to find you forgot to switch it and have to do it all over again?

No thank you.
