Resource Usage Exceeds GPU Memory Capacity error, plus CTD

Indeed, a very annoying message that remains sofar popping up at random moments.
I hope that this issue is solved in SU3, maybe via a possibility to tick it on as option.

i agree i hope it can be enabled/disabled to show the message. im using a 9070xt (16gb vram) and i just spawned into the inibuild a350 at WSSS and im already out of vram!! but tbh my fps isnt that bad so im ok with it but i just wish the mesage would go away / we can choose for it not to show

thanks so much for this advice….. followed your guidance and made the fenix usable… went from fully maxed out 12gb at loading to 7gb when zooming around EGPH with the drone cam… you are a top banana and you can tell them I said so!

I have gotten the “Exceeds memory” notice.

CPU = i7-14700K, 64 GB DDR5
GPU = RX 7900 XTX, 24 GB

Don’t think anything is exceeded.

Keep getting this message now, too. For me, it is triggered when I start recording with OBS.

RTX4090 - i7-12700 - 64GB RAM

All I can say is it has to stop!!! I don’t want to see that message, and it is a useless interference.

@Asobo, please turn this off!

VRAM is concerned, not RAM

See this post here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/vram-issue-for-msfs-2024/736761/4

Mostly Texture res/LOD for me (8GB VRAM), worth a try, this helped me to get rid of that message in “high” settings

Even in the Sim Update Beta 4 it’s still present. Can’t believe it. Give us the friggin option to disable this silly message.

How to reach the Asobo/Microsoft board to raise this topic for our common requested solution?

What is the purpose of this ennoying message that pops-up on unwanted timing for those(like me) having enough graphical power as HW installed and no need to lower the settings?

At least the possibility to choose for such message displayed if required for low-end systems.

I’m getting this message when flying larger planes, but I don’t notice any change in performance. The message itself is very annoying though

This message is a complete pain in the ■■■, despite having a good system. I have set the graphics setting to the lowest I could get it and it still keeps coming. In fact I cannot stop it.

Even with no traffic it comes up.

What is the point in getting a good system if you make it throw up this message every single flight.

And to be clear it comes no matter what I set the graphics too.

I have started turning it back up so most things are on medium now.

Core Ultra 7, with Nvidia 5060ti, 32 meg ram.

I feel you need to go back and sort the code so that memory is used more efficiently
