It would be convenient for times when trouble shooting requires multiple sim starts if there was an option “Restart Sim” along side of “Quit to desktop”

Change Photogrammetry status without restarting the sim

It would be great to change the PG (PhotoGrammetry) status without having to restart the sim. Particularly with MSFS 2024 as the Built PG environment is hugely impressive now but the Vegetation in PG seems much worse than in 2020. Marketplace purchases should be usable without a MSFS restart

Perhaps there is a reason and it has always been that way … but I just did buy two airports and noticed that they do not show up right after the download in the game. I had to quit-and-restart MSFS in order to see them “on the ground”. It would be nice if purchases could be used directly after the download from the MSFS store … without having to quit and restart MSFS.

Force Reload of Community Mods without restarting sim

As it stands today, if you install a new community mod by adding it to the community folder, you have to reboot the sim. This is a pretty time-consuming process. Would it be possible to add an option for users to directly reload community mods without having to restart the simulator? FSX kinda did the same thing with scenery, when you added one to the library it cleared the scenery cache and rebuilt it on command. And it was always possible to force FSX to rebuild the cache anyways even if you …

That has nothing to do with my request.

Instead of quitting the sim entirely and then relaunching (from Steam in my case) there would be another choice beside the “Quit to Desktop” option named “Restart Simulator”
