I haven’t experienced the problem the last days. Can anyone confirm if it has been patched?
I haven’t experience this recently either, but neither am I aware of any patches since before the Christmas holiday.

Sometimes the Quick Reply / Validate input from keyboard and joystick are not responding. i have to open the com menu as work-around.

Issue is still present. It happened to me on Saturday. It’s completely random. Usually after landing. Sometimes before takeoff. Issue continues.
Yep, you are right. It happened to me again yesterday. Luckily, this time at least it offered the needed options in the ATC menu

This sorts it for me when I get the issue. Just open up ATC and select it in there.
Ive had this multiple times as well…
today, I twice flew into Southampton Intl / UK.
both times I landed, I got told to switch to ground, I Ack’d and did so.
but then request taxi did not work.
I also opened command panel, and tried there, and it didn’t work there either.
so whilst, its true, sometimes the comms panel will work, where the ‘enter’ key doesn’t, at other times, it just appears like ATC is MIA.
btw: I double checked the frequency given, and it was correctly dialled into the comms panel. even re-entered, still nothing.

but there are quite a few ATC bugs, on takeoff in the same flight, I was told to enter runway - but then couldn’t get clearance for takeoff (so got dinged on that too 
)

Initially it works to taxi to runway and hold short, after that it’s totally random but always happens in every career mission, tapping the return key to comply with instruction from ATC quits working.

Everytime I do a firstflight style mission where you go up fly a loop round somewhere and come back when I vacate the runway and stop at the hold an option comes up to inform atc of the taxiing to parking. No matter how many times i press enter it refuses to acknowledge it and I end up getting penalised.

A quick note that may help until the issue is fixed. Whenever this has happened to me, I simply open up the ATC (Communication) Window and contact air traffic control (ATC) directly and request “Taxi to Parking”. It works just fine and satisfies the mission requirements. I agree it can be frustrating, but this “workaround” has solved the issue every time it has happened to me. Blue skies!

• Quick Reply, mapped to keyboard, throttle, and joystick are not working in all mission and scenarios (anymore?) on PC for me. I was able to fly maybe a dozen missions in career mode then recently Quick Reply just stopped working. I’ve mapped and remapped but any time there is a Quick Reply action I need to complete in a mission, I cant.

• Press QUICK REPLY to request taxi to parking/ATC clearance/taxi clarence etc. does nothing in most missions now. Destroys score.

Neither the quick reply method or opening up the ATC and selecting an option to taxi to parking works for me, so this is simply not true.
I also found that when I have this issue I hit \ to call up comm. I then need to use mouse to “click” on the next step.
There does not seem to be rhyme or reason to when this happens. It can happen with almost any random step in the flow. I have had it where I could use Enter key for earlier steps but then later I could not. This includes giving position before final, asking to taxo to parking stop. I also had it for the first step to call for boarding.
I am on PC 12900kf, 4090 MSI suprim (water cooled), 128G Ram, 990 pro 4TB M2
It may not be true for you, my friend, but it absolutely does work for me, and every single time it has happened. I hope you are able to find a workaround until it is fixed.

- Start a simple sightseeing mission with C172 in career mode at CZBB.
- Get ATIS, then try and get taxi clearance from tower as directed by the mission goals.
- Hit enter and nothing happens. Multiple attempts get no response
- Try and use com panel to request taxi clearance, but not available
- Taxi out and get warning taxi clearance not given. Sigh…

Sorry, but MSFS 2024 is a complete disaster. It is so unstable and full of bugs it is practically unplayable. Has anyone been able to play it without a serious bug affecting their flight? I find I have been forced to sign up to be a beta tester, when I actually bought the released application. This is my last (of multiple) bug reports for a few months to see if it is any better after that time. Back to MSFS 2020 until then. Sigh…
This is trully annoying and all the above is also on my situation.
I have bind a key to the controller for quick reply. Sometimes it works, sometimes it dont. At that point i use the enter key with is also inop. When switching to the radio com page you can click the message. If you are to late you get punished
Frustrating to have this bug and very emersive breaking in vr
Its the random nature of this bug thats so anoying, today i had to load 3 flight in cargo missions before the quick reply button would respond, its so hit and miss, all those transfer of owned plane fees as well. just not good enough, i wish FS2024 had been delayed at least a full year longer, just to kill all these bugs.
