A quick test, a short hop from Zurich LSZH in FSS E190 and I’m very happy with the update. Ok, it will never be Jo Erlend Sund but imho it’s a very nice airport addon after the update…

The ground textures were always this scenery’s greatest strength and they are actually right up there with some of the best. It looks a lot tidier now but, as you say, it will never be Jo Erlend, Pyreegue or MK quality.
I think I’ll be satisfied with this updated version.

After such a long wait, I was honestly hoping for more visual improvements (in addition to bug fixes). The ground textures look good. But the building textures are still at FSX level and are probably the worst of all the airports I own. It’s a shame, but in case of LIMC we’ll probably have to wait for another developer. LIMC and the A330 really damaged Aerosoft’s reputation.

Of course when you take a drone you can find many ugly places like those from your screenshots. I’m apparently a guy easier to get pleased and I’m more than ok how the airport looks now. Still much better than the default generic airport and Barelli’s rendition.

It’s always a matter of personal taste which aspects of an add-on are particularly important to you. And yes, I’ll admit that, in addition to the basics of a functional flight simulator airport, the visuals are also very important to me. And let’s be honest, visually speaking, there’s a world of difference between LIMC and recent airports like Porto, Key West, Stuttgart, or Liverpool. And I think some visual tweaks for LIMC wouldn’t have taken an insane amount of effort. The green jet bridges, for example, really deserved nicer textures and windows. And I’ll never understand why they modeled the check-in area so nicely but only gave the terminals a parallax effect. All in all, it just doesn’t look good to me. Maybe tolerable from the cockpit perspective, but not really nice.

I think the most crucial thing for me is whether or not the navdata is now reinstated. Do we have SIDs/STARs and frequencies now?
I had a STAR and ILS data in the FSS E190 FMS and I have Navigraph subcription.
I’m sitting somewhere between the two of you re this update. I actually found taxiing in after landing quite pleasing (certainly compared to how I felt first taxiing in using the previous version). I think the best way to describe the update using just one word is “tidied”. It feels far less messy and haphazard now, and while the landside areas are still objectively poor (even with the abundance of custom-modelled roads), parts of the airside actually look quite good. I think there’s now a little more static clutter, and the loco terminal north end of the field has definitely seen significant improvement (it now has a partial interior, albeit basic). The night-lighting within the terminal buildings is still bad but, again, better than it was.
It is at least functional now, and I had no problems getting down with full ATC and navaids. Could it be better? Of course, but the airport is at least now usable without feeling like you full on landed back in FS2004.
If you stick to the flighdeck, I actually think it looks decent, in most airside areas. I will say, however, that my sentiment could be influenced by a sense of relief that the update has actually arrived.

The last update was pretty decent, and took the airport from almost unusable to being actually quite enjoyable. Hopefully this new update will make it even better.

The ATC tower Blue light Italy aviation symbol. No light Please. just remove the blue light at night.

The Entire T1 Terminal A/B an C, I dont want to see through the glass UNLESS i go inside. I CANT stress enough how much i want the see through glass at the biggest building(you know the check in lines, mcdonalds, etc etc) to always be non transparent or non translucent. I want it just to be a very dark green contrast or color night and day reflective or not. I want it to put off some light at night, but again NOT to see through, just not being able to see the Different floor levels and all of the internals and such.

The central middle connection windows to i think T1 B is differently colored than the rest.

The train tunnel would be A1 if the mesh were to be removed, and just be earth. just let it be real earth around the airfield.

All textures(perhaps only at night) featuring that generic image that comes with night time(looks like FSX textures), to be MSFS 2024 standard textures.

Also the car park below the terminal can just be empty, like no images, just emptiness levels.

And this entrance ramp is missing a guard rail, so people could walk off and die.

Thank you for this and how much effort you put in it! However, I’m not sure if anyone involved in this scenery monitors these forums. The best would be to post it on Aerosoft forum, there’s a dedicated thread for this addon.
