Hi guys,
i updated my old Rift S for a Quest 2 yesterday. My first impression on FS2020 was awful. The Rift S was smoother. I tried all the resolution settings in Oculus app and i can’t get higher than 30FPS even with sim settings at the lowest possible… I don’t use steam VR, just oculus app and debug tool.
Can someone help me ?

Rift S is quicker because it’s direct PCVR, video are directly send to the headset thought the video connection, and it have a lower resolution. It don’t have to compress and decompress the video so it need less resource obviously. I also saw post of persons having the Reverb G2 and the Quest 2 and saying the G2 are less demanding on resource even if it have a far bigger resolution than Q2, for the exact same reason.
Edit : I have a good old Oculus Rift CV1, nobody beat me on performance side 
yes rift miles better .I have both . Can get a much sharper image on the rift
