LOL kind of looks like my office here. Does your wife tell you to clean up your mess, or that you love the computer more then her. LOL
i7 - 6

250 ssd
1 TB hdd
2 TB ssd -ms2020 installed here
29" msi 165 hz monitor…
(former set up same as above remove the montors and add )
48" Samsung TV main display
(2) 23" Acer 60 hz monitor - one left one right
1 19" Generic 60 hz monitor - over the top of the samsung used for the overhead panels
getting the 48 and 23’s to match up great never worked real well but you would have side scenery
that didnt quite line up completely lol.
Was still good enough of an experience though to make my Grandkid get airsick by standing behind me and watching me do barrel rolls etc ;p
No ratings just fly for fun… real world experiences were
Uncle was a SAC pilot and put me in the cockpit of a B52 simulator (rather crude one) at airbase and showed my how to fly a B-52.
Had a buddy in HS that had his pilots license and his dad had a small cessna and a twin engine job
buddy could fly the cessna and we’d go up and he’d let me fly around a bit.
Recently work for a company that clears trees from power line right of ways, they were using an little bird ‘actually designation escapes me at the moment’ md 55? And I got to fly that to the airport but again no take off or landings…
Hahaha! Yep mate my girlfriend has a computer next to mine her setup is quite as good and forever is messing the room then yelling at me to clean it! - Nah its good.
Thats a setup and a half there - whats it like using the 48" as a main display? Is it close to where you sit and do you notice any eye pain or anything always been wondering since 4k 75hz TV are getting cheaper than monitors these days
Thats awesome get the whole family involved haha!
Its rather immersive. I liked it myself never had eye problems it sat arms length from me, the 2 side monitors butted up against those trying to get that REAL Life VR feeling lol and the upper monitor was in a perfect position to simulate the overhead.
Used the 2D panels so that I had better control of what got displayed where using + of - so resize specific screens.
What are those speakers or monitors you have there. Are they the Alex ones?
I just happen to compose real bad midi music ( also plays guitar, bass, and drums ) and was looking for a good set of cheap monitors. Using the Bose 2 companions right now, there good but not great.
If your gonna buy big panel, buy three of them so you can get that full effect. Though 2020 has no 2D panels anymore so getting things to work great might not be as easy. I hate 3d cockpits I came to fly not to look at pretty scenery.
Oh yeah and dont forget to buy a larger desk or two ;p

Oh, I love this sim pit competition thing!
I have an Asus gaming laptop, i7-8750H, 32 GB RAM on a TV tray while I sit on the couch.
And a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick on a piece of plywood on my lap.
Yeah when it works right, lately Ive been having more problems getting it to work right.
I have a cat , wait I am a cat . I have another cat .
