I flew that same route a couple of days ago (ENTC - ENSB) and had no runway lights on 2020 on series X in the A20N v2
Interestingly, on 2020 I have Schiphol by Feel There and the runway lights never work when arriving there from anywhere. But the airport works on 2024 so I flew in there from a few different places in the A330F and the runway lights were there every time. Will try ENTC TO ENSB in 2024 to see what happens
Edit: 2 things - firstly, in 2024, the a20N knows about the ILS 09 arrival into ENSB. Secondly, the northern lights are awesome
Good to know this bug seems fixed in 2024… too bad the mouse freelook is still broken on Xbox and I refuse to reinstall the 2024 until this (and a few other things) is fixed
Btw. the same thing happened when I flew back from ENSB to ENTC - no lights on ENTC
I’ve had issues with runway lights at Tromso before. Seems like the UK and Norway are particularly bad for it normally while sparsely populated Asia, Africa, South America and Souther US States are always fine. I reckon that airports chew up RAM and so places where there are many of them (UK) cause issues quickly
Hopefully freelook gets fixed soon. I’m still half in the habit of using my controller to look around and have shortcut keys on my keyboard for the various views I use in the cockpit so it’s workable for me
It happens everywhere whatever the airport complexity. It’s just rendering the lights at the wrong level. Changing photogrammetry setting or graphics setting to force a reload does nothing.
It’s infuriating.
It used to happen very infrequently but in the past few months it happens more often than not.
