Can not wait to try it tomorrow. Thank you.
Hello! Iām having some performance issues with the Saitek Switch panels plugin. When it is running I notice a drop of 10 to 15 fps.
Hi,
Serious FPS loss! I assuming you are using the latest driver:
https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/simulation/MSFS_Plugin_x64_Software_8.0.313.0.exe
When I get home I will install and test it myself and let you know [here] if I have the same FPS loss!
Hi!
Yes, Iām using this exact driver.
Thank you, that will be of great help!
Are there any suggestions besides spad.next to make the Saitek FIPās work. Itās a bummer to have them just sit there with their splash screen! The Logitech FIP link seems to do nothing. However, all my other Saitel peripherals work fine.
Just in time as my panels are arriving today sweeeet
You have withdrawn your last post!
Have you found a solution then?
For what itās worth, I installed the new plug in and ran the simulator and have experienced
NO frame drops at all.
Does your exe.xml look like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?><SimBase.Document Type=āSimConnectā version=ā1,0ā>
SimConnect
SimConnect.xml
False
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Logitech Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>C:\Program Files\Logitech\Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin\LogiMicrosoftFlightSimulator.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>-r</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>
Sorry, my mistake. Actually I havenāt found⦠Iāll check thanks!
ok so i have plugged in my radio panel downloaded the drivers and it detected it BUT no lcd lights or anything is showing on the panel, am i doing something wrong
Hi,
To be clear, the correct method is to download and install the driver BEFORE you plug in your radio panel.
Are you using this:
update so it now lights up in the tbm930 it didnt work in the 787 but i mainly fly the a320 so im assuming it will working fine in that as thats using a physical comms panel and not the computer
Is exe.xml supposed to be located on \Program Files\Logitech\Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin ? I coud not locate this file there
The location of the exe.xml file varies from installation to installation [ and Steam / MS store download]
It is one level higher than your community folder.
For me it is here:
C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
- = your name.
Found it! Thank you! It looks just like that
Ok.
Are you using a Honeycomb yoke?
Check your [Windows] āPrograms and Featuresā list to see if you have any other MS plug ins installed and /or any other Saitek drivers installed.
Also do you have this:
https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/simulation/Flight_Panels_x64_Software.exe
This is the panel test software [it works for all the panels, radio, switch and multi]. Use it to test your panel functionality at the Windows desktop [not the Sim].
Is this plug-in different than the Logitech website driver?
I checked that site too and it appears the site hasnāt been updated yet. Use the link Tr1cky put up
The one at the website is: * Software Version: 8.0.290.0.
The one above [the new one as provided by tr1cky] is this:
https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/simulation/MSFS_Plugin_x64_Software_8.0.313.0.exe
This is the correct one to use.
I should be more clear, is this .exe file created by Logitech or a private person?
Both the above drivers are provided by Saitek/Logitech!
Itās just that the latter [ [8.0.313.0.exe] is so new it isnāt available at the website yet.
