Salty Simulations 747-8

Hello,
I am unable to finish a long flight (7+ hours) recently-I find my plane crashed and don’t know the reason (never seat the whole time in the cockpit). Fuel management is ON.
Any idea?
In SU11 I did some 12+ hours flights
Thanks

This is a very late response - and you’ve probably moved on but…just in case. In many Boeing airliners the ability to deactivate functions like N1, SPD, VNAV, APPR is dependent on the state of the aircraft. Meaning things like is AT on, what AP modes are active - or not. In general a switch that is lit can be deselected by pressing it. If it’s not lit - it depends…but really you need to know more about how to really fly these aircraft to properly answer this question. The bottom line - it’s probably not a problem with the aircraft implementation, it’s mostly likely a misunderstanding about how things work.

With the latest Avionics beta updates the Asobo 747 and 787 are getting a significant rework. And the Salty mods to the default avionics cannot comingle with these new updates. But the Salty mods make improvements to flight model and other aspects of the aircraft that do not pertain to avionics. I’m wondering how all of this is going to work, like whether Salty folks are going to mod onto the new 747s and 787. Seems like a lot of rework - but maybe it’s segregated enough that they can keep the stuff that Working Title didn’t touch. Best of both worlds!
