I just noticed you can save Live weather. I saved it as “Atlanta Storm”. Now I see two “Live Weather” menu items in the Weather menu…one at the top, one at the bottom. I’m assuming the one at the bottom is mine? Maybe? Is it global or just local to Atlanta? Does it stay there until I get rid of it? Anybody know about any of this?
You seem to have made a 2nd “User defined” weather profile, based on an existing one, but did not give it a new name.
You should be able to go back in and select it, rename it and then save it.
You can also go back in, select it and then delete it.
Finally, by Brute Force, you “could” go into your file system, and delete that specific user defined weather profile file ( but that required knowing where to look etc ec ), — far better to use the SIMS’s UI to mange it.
I saved it as Atlanta Storm. It seems to want to call it Live Weather in the menu. I even tried renaming it and it didn’t fix it.
EDIT: Oh…I had to restart the sim and then it was named right. What weather does it save? The entire world? Does it replicate what’s around me to the whole world? Or a region?
NO, it saves a PRESET weather .. that is the same for everywhere.
Okay. I did find out that after I restarted the sim it named “Live Weather” Atlanta Storm and named “Atlanta Storm” to Live Weather. It got them backwards. Sigh
