Seasons 2024 Enhanced - By Bijan - Released

January 2025 update:

Season Enhanced for MSFS 2024

if you have a request to make seasons better, it’d be helpful if you did your research, provided some solid evidence to back it up, and were respectful about it.

If your idea is feasible and makes sense, I’d be happy to make it happen, especially if it benefits the whole community. In turn, you can expect a response that reflects the same level of courtesy and consideration.

As I’m working full-time on Seasons and providing free upgrades, it’s only fair to ask for a little help when it comes to researching and presenting your ideas. Thanks for your understanding and support of Seasons!

Season Pack 8, Earth FX Edition. More Than Just Seasons!

I’m thrilled to announce the next evolution of Season Pack 8 with the new Earth FX edition!

This update delivers numerous improvements, paving the way for future advancements beyond MSFS2024, and introduces exciting new features, with regular updates to come that will continually expand coverage and enhance your experience.

Expanded Features:

  • Introducing animated waterfalls, launching with 2 iconic waterfalls at 2 breathtaking locations! Yosemite and Angel Falls. My goal is to feature all iconic waterfalls from around the world, and each update will bring us closer to achieving this vision. Each waterfall’s size, height, and flow speed will be uniquely determined by the height and shape of its surrounding cliffs, creating a truly immersive experience.

  • Active Volcanoes - including currently erupting volcanoes with mesmerizing animated lava explosions, flowing molten lava, ash cloud lightning, and ash clouds that swirl and dance in the air.

  • Active Wildfires with roaring animated flames and smoke towering thousands of feet into the air, leaving behind a trail of scorched earth and burnt trees.

The best add on for sure, although Bijan’s own Projects add on might eclipse it over the next few months fixing our harbours and coastines as well!

Hey Bijan,

Hopefully you’re able to answer these questions as they are just discussion not tech support, but I’m wondering what settings you and other VR users use currently?

I’ve got a high spec machine with a 3090 and a Reverb G2 but I still have to make concessions.

I tried putting terrain and object LOD to max 200 in VR but it affected my frame rate so I’ve scaled back to 115. I currently have trees set to medium.

I wondered what the visual differences are if I increase to high or ultra. Does it make the tree detail sharper, or better, or does it mean they just render further away? Just wondering if I’m missing out on anything not having them maxed out?

I can max everything out easily in flatscreen, but I only sim in VR.

@bijanstudio Enhanced Fall Season in Aspen is looking good!

It’s been three or four days at least since Bijan added more free stuff to the seasons pack. I think I’m starting to have withdrawal symptoms…
