Hello,

I have a question:

This is near EDAZ (near berlin) default:

this is with your mode enabled (different day and time, doesn’t matter, its just about the trees):

Why are so much less trees?
is it supposed to be so?
InGame settings are at HIGH for trees.

thx

Hi

No, that is not right.

Just outside that area looks fine, but something is causing that small area to reduce trees. I am looking into it.

Thats amazing! Looking forward to the update. Thank you, again, for your work! It’s been worth the buck.

This is fixed. It was just around Berlin only.
It will be included in the update this weekend.

First of all Bijan, as always, your work is amazing, as is your commitment to listening to input from people all over the world. So thank you once again.

I promised some further feedback from your work on Tasmania, but given the magical variance in flora and biomes here, it has proven very difficult for me.

Your recent mask to alleviate false colours on the countryside has been subtle but effective, so that’s great. :grinning:

Um, but, and I hesitate to say this, forest density has proven hard for me to report on, given your workload and not wanting to add to it. Especially as I like your addition of bushes to fill out the variety amid the trees.

In some areas though, even in regrowth areas, it is a bit too sparse. Many forests should look denser, some with pretty tall trees. Problem is, it really can be sparse here, even in areas with old growth forest, mostly on poor soil areas. So I don’t know what to suggest.

Also, we have, especially in areas of Tasmanian Blue Gum (eucalyptus globulus, subspecies globulus) lots of very tall dead trees that are a natural part of forests over time. Ironically the very same species that grows in Los Angeles and will likely be the only thing to survive the fires. :frowning:

So, right now, no hurry, but when you have time maybe we can talk about some fine tuning.

Again though, many blessings and keep up the great work! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Edit, must add your work to improve coastlines and remove trees on water side cliffs etc is outstanding (no pun intended).

Hello Bijan, you are doing a fantastic work. First time i bought one of your Products, “Seasons for MSFS 2024”, and i love it.
I am working on a Mod for Key West and i noticed that Key West has no Palm Trees. There are a lot of Mangrove Trees. Can you take a look please?
Regards from EDDV

Hi

I do have them but it’s a bug that appeared in previous version that prevented the sim from reading the biome files in some cities.

It will be visible in next update. Here they are:

Hi Bijan, would you be able to remove a big patch of photogrammetry trees that look ugly around Renton airport please? Love the new update!

Hi

Thank you.
Sure. Added to the list.

Hi Bijan. I’ve just noticed that huge chunks of photogrammetry don’t load in LA with the latest update. Instead we get the autogen buildings. I removed 1.7 from the community folder and the photogrammetry loaded fine.

It seems to be quite random. On the left of the highway we get photogrammtry whilst on the right we get autogen.

From my simmarket page about photogrammetry: (also in what is included.txt)

“My approach involves removing Photogrammetry from trees and small houses, as they often appear merged and distorted. I also remove spiky mountains and forests, while preserving main high-rise buildings and important structures. If you prefer not to have this modification, you can simply delete the corresponding file from the scenery folder”

As you can see from the image you posted, all trees look perfect and include real palm trees instead of stone pillars.

I will eventually remove all houses with photogrammetry trees, leaving only larger building.

Hello Bijan.
Thanks for your work. A “must have” for MSFS.
Would you take a look at the trees density in Corsica island ?
More density if it’s possible.

Thank you.

Ah thats good to know.

Thanks for pointing that out. I took a look, and it’s currently set up to prevent farms and suburb areas from feeling like a jungle. However, this means the mountains are a bit sparse. To fix this, I’ll use the SDK to create separate biomes for farms areas and mountains,
