If anyone is willing to post some screenshots, I’d like to see the area just south of Allentown PA at this time of year (Oct 20) with PG on. I’ve rented the competitor and it doesn’t solve things I would like solved. I’d like to see what Bijan’s Seasons Enhanced 2024 does for the area. Id like to see the small mountains just south of the city that are still in the PG and I’d like to see where the PG joins non-PG just a bit south. For example, heres what I see as default:
One of my main issues with trees is the way conifers are so much taller than deciduous nearly everywhere in the US northeast and central US. In real life the deciduous are much bigger and the evergreens that grow wild just aren’t that big. Places like Arkansas and Tennessee and up through the Appalachians are pretty amazing in the fall… not so much in the sim.
No, my addon does not affect the default MSFS grass system. Unfortunately, the grass LOD (Level of Detail) and draw distance are controlled by the simulator and cannot be modified through my addon.
Replacing all taller grass and vegetation with basic grass worldwide is not currently possible through the available SDK tools. AI would not be able to bypass these limitations either.
I have deleted the “CropSpecies” folder from Bijan. In my opinion it looks much better with just the brown Displacement mapping on the fields, rather than with crops popping in right in front of the aircraft. Also some green fields now has grass instead of crops (Or maybe they always had, just that the crops was in the way).
Indeed! It is part of the Visby PG and reaches a bit outwards. The rest of the island got some horrible elevation data and details in general, but Visby could be great with tweaks.
