since the Update to 1.8.3.0 I can’t get any connection to the servers.
My Account show only Automatic, but no servers are listed.
Therefore no streaming data and live weather is availabale.
Disconnect and Reconnect my account doesn’t solve the problem.
Restart of the PC already done.
I have the same issue. Patch initially worked fine. Last night the sim started doing this. It is connected online but refuses to display any bing data, even my rolling cache doesnt display and reverts to landclass scenery. I would like to know if it is on Asobo’s end before I start trying too many things and mess it up!
Did you change any passwords in the last few days that might be linked to this account? If you did then you will need to select your avatar in the top right and select ‘sign out’. Then log back in with your new password.
I’ve got the exact same issue as the original poster. Haven’t changed any passwords linked to the account and tried logging out and in a few times with no success.
Ironically I wasn’t having any problems with live weather before the update!
No, before the update I was normally getting live weather for the first flight after launching the sim, if I went back to the flight planner it would go to clear skies though. Now it’s just not connecting to the server so I don’t get any live weather or air traffic!
I also had this issue. After the last patch update, on the Data Menu in simulator, the first option is something like ONLINE FUNCTIONALITY (on my language, portuguese is something like that). So, check if it is Enable. Mine was Disable. I think the patch change it by itself.

The online function was the first thing I checked when I had the problem.
I have not changed my password either.
Before I installed the Simulator Update, I created an image of the operating system. But the simulator is installed on a separate SSD.
I have now installed this image, the simulator is now running in online mode again with the update 18.3.0.
I don’t know exactly what the problem was, I guess it was an update from the MS Store, maybe the “Gaming Service” caused the problem?
But I still have a problem with synchronizing the data when starting the simulator.
