Most laptop keyboards have two sets of SHIFT, CTRL and ALT keys: left & right. Internally, the corresponding left & right keys send different codes to the machine. Programmers know this & program their user interfaces so the end result is the same whichever key is depressed – left or right.
In MFS many functions are controlled by combinations of these keys with others. DEPENDING ON WHETHER YOU USE THE LEFT OR RIGHT KEY(S), THE RESULT IS OFTEN DIFFERENT.
Wouldn’t it be nice if MFS told us dumb users which set to use? Or even program so it wouldn’t matter?
You can check in the “Control Options” menu to check what keys mean what-at least that is what I did with my keyboard.
Left side keys
The Control Options menus don’t specify on which side of the keyboard these keys should be used.
I understand that the left side keys are the correct ones - thank you!
