I made a short route to revisit the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, and Death Valley in California which I last saw a number of years ago.
Time: 58 minutes nonstop in a TBM 930.

Route:
KGCN (Grand Canyon National Park)

0L9 (Echo Bay)
KLAS (McCarran Int’l, Las Vegas)
L06 (Furnace Creek, Death Valley National Park)
Landmark Locations:
Lake Mead is the main body of water you will see.
Valley of Fire State Park is a colorful geological area north of Echo Bay and south/southwest of Perkins.
Death Valley National Park is west of Las Vegas and home to both the lowest elevation in North America and the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth; the Furnace Creek airstrip is within the park. Badwater Basin is found a few miles south of Furnace Creek and looks pretty much how I remember it!
