Sim doesn't start any more after 2024-10-01 update - Remove Navigraph AIRAC Cycle

After today’s update, the sim crashes around 75% into the initial load screen. It simply closes to desktop, only safe mode works.

Update: uninstalling the Navigraph AIRAC through Navigraph Hub (unly the very first in-sim nav package) allows the sim to start for me.

Good job testing with one of the most prominent addons.

I have the same exact problem.

loading it up 3 times again, so far two crashes while loading in

Hello @Laurreth,

If the sim launches in Safe Mode but Normal startup doesn’t work, that is typically an indication that there is an issue with one or more add-ons. Try emptying your Community Folder and then gradually re-add your mods until you find the one(s) which cause the startup fail.

Thanks,
MSFS Team

Hi, I have the same exact problem. The sim worked perfectly before this update.

No mods community folder empty and still crashes while loading

Same problem here. Worked fine just an hour ago.

Same here. Sim crashes during load (at about 80%).
No matter if community folder is full or empty.

Stuff like this should not happen. No QC?

Emptying my community folder worked, now adding stuff in to see what it could be. I’ve narrowed it down to Navigraph, FBW products, some Inibuilds products, and Fenix A319/320/321.

EDIT: It appears to be Navigraph AIRAC data.

Hi folks,

Can you confirm which platform you are on if crashing?

Thanks!

No update for me! Where is it?

Steam edtion here

Crashing with me on MSStore version.

Edit:

Navigraph uninstall did the trick.

MS Store edition, Win11, all up to date

Steam too…

WINDOWS 11 PC … DELUX
(full sentence confirmation to allow the post GRRRR )

Same here, Steam version, Windows 11.

Does this update install automatically? Cause I haven’t fired up my sim yet and won’t if it’s going to break it!

Can folks try without Navigraph installed by chance? I emptied community folder and had no problem getting in. Put Navigraph back in (and only Navigraph), and I had the crash.

Yes, for me it was automatic/compulsory
