Yeah, I’m a bit disappointed at the quality of this product. Certainly doesn’t look like 2024 quality visuals.
in July 2025 they said, that they only have to finish the work on the paints now, all other stuff is done. It only the matter of weeks for an release.
In September 2025 they said, “Be patient, soon Will be finish ed”
In October 2025 “we are finishing internal painting, not too much to wait, be patient.”
In November 2025 the painter got his baby.
Now we have January 2026
So they working 7 months on skins…. Iam NOT a painter myself, but when I see how fast other Painter/skinner work, it feels like the strange to me.
You’re also working with Italy (and most of Europe) here. Pretty much December and likely into January is off on holiday…
Do you have a particular reason why you make us guilty of delays?
We have never indicated a mandatory release date, furthermore the advent of SIM 2024 forced us to do extra work to be able to release both versions.
This is not the place to have unpleasant discussions so we will no longer say
when the EA version is available.

cutting “unpleasent discussions” is the right way to handle customer who show interested in your products….not.
As a customer I only want to hear the truth about the product I bought.
The lack of information and updates (“Hey, we run in Problem xy, so we have to push the Update back etc.)….instead we hear “soon”, “soon to be finsihed”.
It seems we have a difference feeling and understanding about “soon”. In my world “soon” doesnt mean 7+ month.

Substance-wise, because the legitimate problems he’s complaining about involve other developers whose production and communication are more extensive than his. Sorry, no intention of offending anyone, I thought I explained well that the painter’s family problems and the advent of FS2024 have posed problems for us, just reading the forum was enough to know, but honestly we don’t like users who don’t understand our problems and don’t make any effort to understand them. We don’t believe that users are always right just because they are users.

I agree. This new KTX2 format is a major pain given the version in the sim is proprietary to Asobo, so we’re forced to use the dev tools to do conversions. It looks like, however, that ModelconverterX is able to deal with it, so, hopefully I’ll be able to figure out how to manage converting back and forth so I can get back to painting someday.

Is anyone else having problems with the SF-260 after the SU5?
I can no longer adjust the altimeter or reset the horizon.
I’ve also noticed a reduction in the area of the clickable zones in the external controls. To move the control surfaces, I have to get very close, almost right on top of them. To remove the cover from the pitot tube, I have to kneel down and reach under the wing to find the clickable zone.
Which version do you have ? 1.7.27 or less ?
I got it on the marketplace, and it didn’t offer any updates, so I think it’s the latest version.
But I noticed that the problem only occurs in VR.

Smoke still can’t be turned off. Otherwise I love the aircraft.
