Sim thinks i am in UTC 0 TIme Zone

Cant seem to figure out how to fix my time zone. Running W11 Pro and MSFS v1.36.2.0 Ny system time and Zone is set correctly - see attached image. All ADdOns have been turned off. any ideas appreciated.

Time selection reverts to utc and is incorrect

Initially after selecting departure location in the world map the time is correct (for me I use Melbourne which is UTC+10 so the local time is shown as 10 hours ahead of UTC). As soon as I click the time slider though it shows the local time and UTC as the same. This also gets the preview in the background (where you can see sunlight on the world out of sync). If I select 02:00 the globe in the background shows it to be day time so I assume it is showing UTC (which would be 12:00 at Melbourne). …

My time is never correct it is always set at GMT from the time the sim starts up.

Have you selected a departure airport ?, until doing that UTC time is shown by default. See that post:

Again, please explain what you’re talking about. If you are again talking about the World Map, doesn’t it display UTC time until you select a departure airport, at which point it switches to local time at the departure airport? How is the sim supposed to know what time zone you want to use until you select a departure airport? Has this behavior changed? Have you switched “Live Time” at all? i guess i never realized that before i figured it should show me the Local time on my world map when i start up the sim. so i just selected a airport and it seems to be showing me the correct time. I guess thats the expected behavior then. thanks.
