Sim Update Today?

25th on which side of the Dateline? Co’s if it’s across then it would be Wednesday the 26th! So not so simple…

The updates usually come around 1600 UTC on the named UTC date, which puts at Tuesday around noon local time on the US east coast, 9:00 AM on the west coast, late afternoon/early evening in Europe and Wednesday (local date) on the other side of the dateline (Australia, Japan etc.) In Sydney, it would be 2:00 AM, Wednesday the 26th.

You drive on the wrong side of the road too, so why not!?

Straight man: “Don’t you know the Queen’s English???”
Benny Hill: “I bl#$%y well hope she is!”

you do mean the correct side?

The first cars were made in Germany, and they drive on the right side of the road too!

Rolling out on Tuesday means you can start your download and do some tweaking if necessary before your weekend of flying. With all the flying events in the Community Events page you really can’t miss an opportunity somewhere.

And yet - if you visit the Mercedes Museum in Germany they have the first ever motor car made- and it still runs. Guess what - driving position is on the right of the car (looking forward)! Just like us!

I see @Crunchmeister71 hasn’t responded yet so I’m jumping in on his
business.

This Forum is not for FSX. It is FS2020.

Maybe he’ll respond.

 I have absolutely no idea what to respond to that. It makes no sense to me whatsoever and I have no clue why his comment was directed at me.

@Crunchmeister71

That’s what the IGNORE option is for !! I gave up on trying to understand some on here months ago …

Ultra @4K does not provide usable data. Means nothing.
Render Scaling does and Ultra does not change it.

Ultra with a render Scaling of 30 gives me an FPS = 22.
Ultra with a render Scaling of 200 gives me an FPS = 1. And locks up FS2020.
Had to close and run again. still locked up. Can’t do anything. Can’t change it to 100.

Had to go to UsrCfg.opt file (used Notepad) and changed:
PrimaryScaling 1.000000 (Was 2.0 = 200 to 1.0 = 100).
Run FS2020 again. Okay now.

Ultra with a render Scaling of 100 gives me an FPS = 10.

Yeah these huge performance increases they keep talking about in Q&As…it’d be nice if we could see some of them eventually.

I think the correct response may be: “Wednesday”.
