Simulator is frozen on exit action

Brief description of the issue:

I have to manually kill FS2020 process to exit, sim stay frozen on exit action.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Launch sim, fly, and try exit using exit menu

PC specs and peripheral set up:

Yes.

Sim will not unload and go back to the main menu after flight. I’ve had to force quit every time today.

FYI, this sounds like the same situation described in this post:

No known definite solution to this as yet, AFAIK.
