I wish orbx would hurry up and release it, I prefer to buy it there.

that’s understandable, but you’re gonna pay a premium, probably an extra 8-10 euros over SWS price.

Checklist for you folks

Thanks for this…

May I ask do you have to do anything with the Condition lever in flight (Cruise) or just leave it?

No big deal but remember that the price you see on the site is the price you pay. Vat is included it doesn’t get added at checkout unlike I think on some of the other sites. Enjoy it anyway regardless of where you purchase it from.

Condition goes to low idle for start and taxi. High idle during taxi and you’ll be riding the brakes the whole time.

Select high idle just before take off, and leave it there until the after landing checks.

FYKI: For me the default “Prop feather” function does not work on Honeycomb Bravo assigned on “Button 26” (Prop 1 detent button).
Instead a “SIMCONNECT:PROP_PITCH1_SET” simulation event must be set to the button with a value of “4294963200”. That seems to work well.
I’m using SPAD.Next for these custom settings.

May I ask (I confess haven’t downloaded and memorized the official AFM yet) if (when) does it make any sense to push it above High Idle?
I’m just sitting on the ground playing around with the levers to check how the parameters changing and I also saw in your checklist that it’s advised to keep it there but it surely has an affect push to the max. If it’s not used in cruise or takeoff / landing then when?
I’d try out low idle landing too but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea on mountain runways with possible downdrafts on the final.

Low idle is only for start and taxi. High idle for take off and all other phases of flight.

Low idle makes it more managable for taxiing.

And where do we use maximum setting? If I max the mixture out it has PPH 145 instead of PPH 100 on High Idle with throttle on minimum, prop max pitch.
Also, NG is changing (71.9 on max instead of 60 on High Idle) and all other parameters are changing respectively too. So it might have a special use of I can do that.
