Wow so excited this will be an instant purchase for me, when the 900 was announced by Daher I wished SWS would do it and now…just amazing news…what a great team of developers SWS are…Kodiak 100 has always been my favourite GA …Money ready for SWS

I was confused by that announcement when I saw it because AFAIK I don’t see 3 more Daher aircraft on top of the Kodiak 900 unless they intend to do other variants of the TBM and Kodiak. As long as the PC-12 and GA8 come along soon I’ll be happy.

I also thought about this. Daher offers the Kodiak and the TBM and soon the Kodiak 900. There could be two types of TBM, maybe a multi-lever version and a single-lever version. Still one left, but i found something on their website. How about this one?
Or even some “legacy” aircraft?

While another Kodiak is nice, a properly done Tbm will be a day 1 purchase for me, especially if it’s the 960.

The Kodiak 900 3D model will be completed as soon as the cabin remodelling of the Kodiak 100 is done
I’d be interested to hear more about this remodelling of the 100 cabin.

The current K100 cabin wall is more “dense” than necessary, meaning it has many more polygons than it needs. It also has some inaccuracies, texture and smoothing issues which the new cabin should tackle.
It has been bugging us for a while and since we are doing the 900, it was a good opportunity to “recycle” some improved modelling into the 100.

I mostly fly a Bonanza G36, and I’m looking for a turboprop with decent STOL performance and better cruise altitude than the Bonanza. I was getting close to buying the Kodiak 100.
I will wait for the Kodiak 900 instead.
Could take a while for the 900, and the Kodiak 100 is well worth it if you want to reconsider. The ambhibious version is on sale for about 10€ at the moment, really a steal!

Any updates on the 900…no pressure 
The Kodiak 900 exterior model is complete and ready to get in the simulator. The very high commonality between the 100 and 900 model allows us to spend very little time in setting up and testing the new aircraft. The solid code base from the 100 means that time will be spent in refining and improving the 900 instead of starting from scratch. Furthermore, an improved 3D model means better looks and performance at the same time.
