I agree. the constant updates since release shows great commitment . thanks SWS. not all devs deliver support after, plenty of examples of that in my hangar.
Agreed and thank you SWS team.
If itās possible to use the Honeywell avionics in your pc12, youād have an EXCELLENT PC-12NG. The carenado pc12 is good, but nowhere close to accuracy of the SWS. Iād be first in long line to purchase.
Itās happening. First, we have some debts to settle with the 47 and our other planes.
No, this is blinking, when you forget to take it out of VS select mode. Just select the VS you want and then click on the knob again, so the display shows you the selected altitude and not the selected VS.
What is blinking when the AP is trimming is the AP/Trim announciator on the announciator panel in the middle of the instrument Panel at the bottom.
Hi, currently changing from 2020 to 2024. Strange point: starting from somewhere with the pc12, it puts me outside the aircraft doors are closed.
I can turn the handle from outside, but I cannot open the door in a second step. How do I get into the plane in 2024?
Press Shift-C
Super - that beamed me into the cockpit, thx ![]()
In 2024 - the Garmin 530/430 is totally dimmed, hardly readable. How can I increase brightness?
I had similar experience and originally sidelined this plane. Then I kicked myself in the butt and said grab this sucker and find out how youāre going to fly it.
So you donāt have to go through what I did, Iām going to tell you what I found, because now this is my first go to aircraft.
Iāll give you a starting point, because Iām sure everyone might be a tad different.
This is what you have nowā¦
Lift the INTERRUPT cover and push up on both INTR buttons.
Set the trim as in the pic below to startā¦Take off.
I leave them in this position through the whole flight. Right or wrong, it tames this aircraft from the monster they created, until they figure it out.
Let me know how it goes.
I have a question about the stick pusher test. I have a 3 different versions of the real PC-12 flight manual, and in all of them the stick pusher test procedure is quite straightforward and boils down to the following:
- Press (and, in the real airplane, hold) the STICK PUSHER test switch and verify the shaker/pusher engages.
- Press the PUSHER INTR on the yoke and verify the shaker/pusher stops.
- Release the STICK PUSHER test switch, but continue to hold PUSHER INT on the yoke and verify the PUSHER announciation comes up again (presumably to warn the pilot about a short in the yoke that would disable the stick pusher system).
- Release PUSHER INTR and verify the PUSHER announciation disappears.
This is it. Pretty straightforward and makes a lot of sense to me. It is also quite different from the procedure in the sim (SWS PC-12) manual, where the sequence of button presses and other details are different. Is it intentional? An oversight? A deviation caused by some MSFS limitations?
Otherwise love flying the plane; kudos to the SWS for keeping making it better.
Thanks! What do the INTERRUPT buttons actually do then?
They do exactly as they are named. They interrupt the circuit of the named function. So trim interrupt stops the trim from working. A pilot may use this if a trim runaway is suspected.
That thing is always on a trim runaway!

The particular procedure was based off of what we experienced in the real plane, plus pilot and mechanic feedback that goes a bit beyond the manual. There is also a sloght difference in that in MSFS you only have one hand (mouse) while im the real plane you have two.
Asuming you are flaps 15°:
- PUSHER TEST will tell the system to go in the test sequence
- PCL to 5psi of torque. Thereās a little switch in there that triggers the test while youāre holding PUSHER TEST overhead
- 2 shakes and one push. The first shake is from the stall warning computer 1, the second from #2. If you only get one shake, it fails. The push tests the pusher system.
- Pusher interrupt on the yoke. You hold it and pull to ensure the yoke can be moved and interrupting is possible. IRL you should do it on both yokes.
- If the test completed successfully, it will exit the sequence and go into normal mode. You will recognise it by seeing the PUSHER CAWS annunciation, which illuminates when the pusher is in normal mode and INTERRUPT is held
- At this point you can release the PUSHER TEST button as the test was finished in step 5.
They actually do their best to interrupt your flight. ![]()
Tried this yesterday and was definitely easier on take off and landing. Thanks!
Sorry if this has been addressed before in this long thread, but anyone knows if there is any update on the NG variant?
I have tried of course the Carenado/WT in MSFS2024, but I am not very happy with the state the quality of that airplane is right now. Also owning (and enjoying
) SWS PC-12 can only make me look forward to an SWS PC12 NG.
Thanks!!
