SkyRes Simulations Eviation Alice

With the evident demise of a 2024 update to the Liv2Air Eviation Alice, another has come on the scene from a new dev, SkyRes Simulations. The Alice appears to be their first effort, compatible with both sims. It’s a bit steep though, at USD 28. The two reviews on SimMarket note a few issues but seem favorable overall.

Anyone have this, or info on the dev? I’m interested but would like a bit more info before I pull the trigger.

Just looking at the cockpit image puts me off. It’s got a Honeywell Primus and Garmin G1000 mis-match non realistic avionics suite so a massive NO from me.

Which is a weird decision when the WT Primus Epic 2 is available in the SDK for both 2020 and 2024 for devs to implement in their products as far as I know.

Kinda weird, isn’t it? Looks like G1000 guts in Primus bezels. I wonder if this is supposed to be the current prototype, while L2A’s was the first. I don’t have 2020 anymore so had to check photos; it looks to me like L2A”s MFD was heavily customized for the aircraft, while this one is closer to “stock”.

Yes really weird. I wonder what they were thinking. I wonder if those surround buttons actually do anything because they are meant to act as multi function soft keys for whatever is displayed next to them on the Honeywell screen. The L2A one is based on a G3000 from memory.

From what I see online, the cockpit layout with those buttons seems genuine. It’s a prototype, after all.

Did anyone try it out yet? I have the Liv2Air, but it’s not working in MSFS 2024 anymore and I rather liked flying this little thing. But for 30€, I want system depth, a decent flight model, as well as the almost obligatory wear and tear (visual, as well as damage-model wise).

Imagine spending that much time on a product only to ruin it by going for the G1000. How sad.

It’s not the buttons per se but the fact they don’t match with the display that is used. The surround is from one avionics and the display a completely different one.
