Not yet stuck on 97% for 30 mins so far - but it will resolve I’m gonna just leave it and do something else for a bit - staying calm

Finally loaded on the Series X & then crashed on the Customize Identity screen
I restarted and had to sit through another long loading screen only for it to crash again in the same place

Why is there no mouse cursor in MSFS 2024? Trying to start it is impossible when you are trying to guess the click spots.

almost 30 minutes in 16%… 
Everything suddenly blasted through for me at about 20%. I’m on the character creation screen now!
so many people were say that they were going to delete 2020…I bet you can download it back before this activates

I had this and it forced me to install an add-on support which got me passed this point.

It jumps to 30/32mbps for 1 sec, it goes back to 0mb/s stays there 3-6secs, jumps to 10-32mb/s for 1 sec, and goes back to 0 again, nonstop. I am at 12% activating packages, around 30mins. And initial 19.9gb download was max at 10mbits.
me too, been nearly an hour now, this is what happens when they try do a simultaneous world wide launch, servers just die!!
