Slow server message - game not working, unplayable

The simulator still doesn’t work, I get a slow server message, i.e. slow connection message. My bandwidth is 200 mbit/sec. Very frustrating. In my opinion, MSFS 2024 is doomed. They made a huge mistake with the cloud server. All users should be refunded. They sold a product that is unusable.

Yup, I have same issue. Im hanging above Gdynia PL, waiting to load my plane on the ground, for already 15 minutes.

I only have a paltry 37mbps connection, but the sim is drawing all of 600kbps max out of it waiting to fly right now. It’s not loading airports, when I have got in (briefly when I checked in overnight) textures are muddy, audio is missing, this is frustrating. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Same issue here. While I have 1Gbps up and down connection, a beast of a PC and everything set on Ultra 4k. Dissapointing for €219,- aviator edition.

That the same issue I experience. On free flight, camera keeps hovering above the clouds waiting to load.

There is 100Mbit/s bandwidth available but only about 30kbit/s are being consumed - if at all.

Apparently some servers delivering the content are down?

Cant load a flight here, very frustrating I dont know what they think they are playing at.

Same for me. 250 Mbit. Ony BITS coming in.

Im tempted to suggest they cancel the launch and try again in 3 months, although I dont want to wait.

The outrageous thing is that they have known for four years that the servers are not working properly, they cannot serve the users. This is a fact. They are installing the game in the cloud, while they know that their server capacity is not adequate. Is this normal? They do not care about the user? Will there ever be server expansion, proper service? What can be said about this. There are no words for this. We paid a lot of money, we got nothing, it is useless.

I do not know what you expect now. MS and Asobo have screwed up, REAL BAD. They have released a cloud product, and not prepared that cloud for scaling or the service itself. They didn’t load test, and that is obvious. This is a 3 Trillion Euro Market Cap company.

They spent more time on the influencers and youtubers instead of doing real testing, and that is the core issue here. They are more interested in marketing and sales, instead of the product and its hosting.

reminds me of boeing or the democrat campaign, just as well its only a game and nothing to do with important infrastructure

3 months ago I wrote in several forum topics that in my humble opinion Microsoft / Asobo will not be able to provide cloud, server-based services. Let’s say they didn’t have to be very smart, because it’s enough to look back at the last 4 years.

In my opinion, the developers knew that this would not work, and they still sold the product. I remember when they said that MSFS 2024 was the biggest undertaking, the best simulator. It really turned out very well, no one can use it. Microsoft made history.

In the case of a completely new cloud, very powerful server-based simulator, shouldn’t there have been, say, a half-year test period, with all the features enabled? Of course. All users should have been involved. Shame.

only spawned in once in the a321neo after restarting my SIM a million times but now nothing works its broken such a shame spending 130 euros on it and it doesn’t even work my server is western Europe location Netherlands btw.

I have to use VPN to the US of A to be able to fly.
Located in Germany.
Without a VPN it loads forever.

Same Situation as in the past when we get the “Bandwidth to low” message hammering in our face?

Same here, some areas get streamed, while others are blurry forever after the first message about low bandwidth (with almost no bandwidth being actually utilized). It seems streaming for some EU regions does not work properly.

I’ve found a workaround. From the Netherlands I connected to New York through ExpressVPN. Bandwith issues solved.
