Wondering about getting this add on. Does anyone have thoughts about it?
I’ve tried just about every type of checklist out there, but admittedly haven’t done any pay options. I’ve tried Hudbar (which is nice). I even wrote a little batch file to switch between planes, but that got to be too much management for me. I tried MS Word (basically duplicating the PDF format that others use), and I also downloaded several from flightto. My personal issue with each is that FOR ME PERSONALLY, they include a lot of items that are relevant in real life, but not in the game.
I’ve been using MS Todo lists and it’s been fine for me. I like it because it’s free and already included with Windows, it’s customizable (so I can remind myself to start my HF8 vibrating seat), it can be altered on the fly as I learn a new plane, and it allows me to check the item off with my mouse as I go along. I completely understand that some people don’t want to interact with a mouse and that’s cool, but that’s the way I do it.
For example, for the list below, you just check off the item as you complete it, and when you’re done with the list and you’re ready for another flight, you just mark everything as ‘Not Completed’ and start over.
