I was wondering what you guys think of Sofly Presets Pro 2? It looks interesting and it seems to show more volume of different clouds. I wish that they would make a real weather program as well and have Asobo open the real live weather to third party addons like Sofly or Active sky to really simulate the real live weather acurately. I was at a airport last week I forget which one it was but the Metor called for thunderstorms and rain with 900 ft broken and 10k overcast. Now I only got in the sim mid altocumulos overcast at that airport no rain no thunderstorms. So I custom made my own weather for that airport I was at. It showed this weather though on the web-based flight planner though. I sure hope SU 2 will bring better weather as well. We will see.

Weather Preset Pro v2 Here is the program I am talking about. They also have something similar in the marketplace whch is cheaper than this so I am not sure what’s better. Maybe you can shed some light on it. Here is Active sky link too Active Sky FS | HiFi Simulation Technologies but I am not sure it’s compatable with MSFS 2024 yet or if it is it only works with simupdate 1 so far and they are trying to get to work with SU2.
They’re ok, probably could lose a few though.
They have the metar with them that was used to create them, which could be useful for learning.
Here’s a selection from some testing I’m doing (new update for LM2). I sort them by windspeed for easier selection for training scenarios.
I can’t recommend this add-on enough, it’s probably my best purchase for MSFS 2024. The presets are very well chosen, and the add-on truly unlocks the full potential of the game engine. Honestly, if I were Microsoft, I would buy it and integrate it directly into the game. Many thanks to SoFly for creating it, I am more than happy with the purchase.
