Alright will tell you when am home thx and see if will that will get rid of the micro stutters
This works great for me.
I have no top of the region high-end rig (i5 9600K + RTX2060 + 32 GB mem).
But playing with the settings of Nvidia and the in-game settings it’s an exceptable smooth flying experience. Above the city center and on the airport the fps drops below 25 fps, but for the rest the fps is above 30 fps.
Here is a video from a short flight over the area of Rotterdam on 2000 ft altitude with a landing on EHRD.
There are 20 personal mods in this area and a few like the Feijenoord stadium has a little stutter while loading, but that’s not a problem for me.
Switch the resolution of the Youtube video to 720p to get a better video.
I’m noticing plenty of micro stutters in your video. A lot of this discussion is in the eye of the beholder What for some people feels smooth, is not acceptable to others. For me, the beauty of the scenery and the sim makes up for some of the micro stuttering I’m encountering!
The video is low quality with 29,92 fps and that is surtenly not the same as what i see on my monitor.
The problem is that the expectations of having a detailed scenery like this including the powerful calculations of a flightsim are to high from some of the users.
It’s not a shooting game. A flight sim and surtenly MSFS 2020 is one of the most demanding peaces of software on the market.
Yeah true rip
There’s clearly stuttering in the cockpit (which is where the worst of the stuttering occurs anyway, performance is usually much better in external view). You should enable the devmode fps counter, it’s hard to tell whether it’s from youtube or not.
Yea true pff but don’t have any other aircraft to fly with only the a320nx for now it’s not tooo bad but still irritates a bit….
I have monitored the stutters with the devmode fps and yes there are some but it’s oke for now.
I struggle the most with low fps because of my not to powerfull hardware.
But i let it be until i can upgrade my hardware at the moment the prices go down.
I hope this will be at the end of this year.
Yea sure!.
Well, if you make a video with geforce experience at 4K and 60 FPS,
even uploading it to youtube will reflect accurately the reality, like so:
I just posted a new post about stuttering during descends when flying 787/747 (No stuttering when flying other planes), and just noticed that after turning off the photometry DURING the stuttering flight stage, everything became smooth again. Then, I turned photometry back on and still got the smoothest flight.
So there’s something messed with the photometry, but “restarting” it seems so solve the problem in my case.
Photogrammertry is a problem, it takes a lot of resources and give you molten building on most places.
I already switched it off from the beginning.
But why does it become a problem only when I fly 787/747? I had countless long flights with A320 and never experienced any stuttering. Only since the last hotfix, I can’t descend with 747/787 without having insane stuttering.
I can fly pretty low above the most dense cities without any problem and everything’s smooth on ultra, but descending from FL380 to 200 with the Boeings is total hell.
The argument that we’re trying to push our pcs too hard, and the settings are too high may only apply to a small amount of people in this group.
I’ve been running the game at (almost) Ultra settings since its release, with no stuttering or bad framerates at all, but since the France/Benelux update it has been totally unusable due to stuttering.
There are also comments about CPU bottlenecks. Again, that is only true for a few of us, my CPU is barely moving.
There is something drastically wrong with the Sim, & I believe it has been recently introduced.
Yea it’s really not our pc it’s just the sim…
I don’t think it’s a recent problem. I have suffered with this for several months.
Yes that’s correct. You also have to see the difference inside the cockpit. Me, I have more micro lags inside than on an outside view.
You see it’s not only mee like I looked for an high end pc and still this…Lmao what are your specs?
Plus I know what’s causing the micro stutter in the cockpit it’s the glass cockpit like the screens are optimized bad that’s why…

End of year (2020), I had 2080ti (Asus dual) and the flight sim works well with the same settings … Now, I have a drop of performance even reducing settings and resolution … This issue appears with WU 3 (Uk Irlande) but the game is playable but not really nice to play.
