I am having the exact same issue always being lined up to the very left edge of the runway and the ils freq isnt automatically entered (has not done so since a few patches ago) the miss alignment of the ils has been happening since the last patch.
Had the same issue flying into La Guardia today. But then again, I disengaged the A/P and hand-flew it in (A320). Nice challenge, and a “non-functioning” ILS could happen in real life. Good practice. Always look at the bright side
Apparently all ILS or LOC that are not placed/aligned with runway in real world are kinda forced to be aligned to the runway or even misplaced.
As example the LOC/DME for Reggio Calabria Airport, 109.30 id REG it’s placed on runway threshold and oriented about 330° (as the runway) while it should be south east and oriented 17°.
This way you got thrown into the mountain…
Where did the Info come from that this has been accepted as an issue by Asobo, a nd will be fixed in update 6 …
what is update 6 ? it has been and gone ~!!
Do you mean Sim-Update 6, sometime in 2021 / 2022 ??
Last I saw was in the Nov Q&A , when LDA’s were mentioned, and Seth looked puzzled, and said they would have to research that …
It came from Latin vfr
some airports don’t have the correct ILS they never focus the runway … even with one of the airports made by hand (which I suppose should be perfect) RJTT Tokyo runway 22
Just had that on JFK’s 22R
Nice (LFMN) was other that had this issue.
I can understand default airports with issues, but “”“hand crafted”"" ones are just frustrating.
And it’s interesting that most people are lading towards the left side of the runaway only
I’ve been having the same issue with a few runways, most notably CYTZ, ILS RWY 08. This is one of the hand crafted airports. I’ve tested three times, and all three times have lined up right of the runway to land. The approach mode works perfectly for altitude, horizontal is just off.
Pretty sure it is the offset issue others in this thread have reported. The online approach plate has the course at 085, but in game it is locked on 083.
Been flying in the Daher TBM 930, and I don’t think it is user error, I’ve got the correct LOC of 110.15 and follow the exact same procedure I do at other airports (such as nearby CYYZ RWY 24L), which works perfectly on the centreline. I also have landing assist off.
Looks like it is still an issue, just wanted to add in another example.
Oh, friend, same situation also with A320.
Some runway lined up left of runway, but this time, right of runway 08 CYTZ.
I hope that we get over 200 votes in order to notify this issue to MS/Asobo.
I get the ILS off set on every single landing i make in any European airport but it only seems to be a few meters to either side.
Make sure landing assistance is on hard and not easy.

That’s known as the “Han Solo” approach.
Yes it’s a reply to a post in September, but sometimes it must be done.
Kingston, Jamaica MKJP is actually supposed to be 2deg offset to the left but simulator has a significant offset to the right. Also the SALS is missing. Disappointing.
Anyone else having trouble with PANC runway 15?
I noticed the same on JustSim EDDH with the Working Title CJ4.
was approaching the 23, the bearings were all centered but the plane was lining up with the left part of the runway.
Is this scenery related?
I live not far away from LFMN airport. Recently I purchased my MSFS and tried to land with a Cessna 172 ILS runway 4L and 4R. In both cases always the airplane lands between the runways. I am not sure what causes this error. Can someone help? Thank you.
Had that too at Nice, yesterday. Not sure its a bug. The localiser maybe off-set of the runway, which is sometimes the case in real life as well. From a certain point you just have to manually fly it in.
It’s an AP bug - not bad NAV data programming.
What I found is that it’s a bug of the APR mode of the autopilot.
The HSI receives and catches the LOC course correctly which can be seen from the CDI needle.
If you fly the ILS approach manually following the CDI needle of the HSI you will arrive the RWY exactly at center line. Only in APR mode (sometimes) the AP missguides to some extent off from RWY center line.
Following the glide slope in APR mode seems to be no problem.
There is only one equestion left: Why does the APR mode of the AP works at some airports (e.g. EDDL) well and at others not?
It’s actually both.
Sometimes the database is off like at LOWI and sometimes the AP is unable to keep the LOC centered.
