A couple of questions regarding SPAD.next:
- Is there any advantage in using it vs. SimAppPro for the Winwing EFIS/FCU and MCDU?
- Can it be used with Rowsfire panels (specifically radio/transponder combo panel and overhead v3.1)?
A couple of questions regarding SPAD.next:
Following.
I have some WW stuff, thinking about getting a bit more. I’m not a fan of simapp so far, it kind of works but the interface is not great. I’ve seen some suggestions about using Mobiflight. I feel like especially if I was mixing and matching products from different vendors then 1 piece of software that could manage all of them vs having 4 things running would be better.
I just got the A107 overhead panel from Rowsfire but there is no functionality with Spad.Next at this time. I’ve got it running with mobiflight.
That said, the quality of the device is very very average. For $350USD I would steer clear of this one - its nowhere near the standard of WinWing.
I do not have experience with rowsfire, but I prefer spad.next over sim app pro for winning, because of the customization.
SimAppPro has regular updates and the EFIS, FCU, MCDU work fine with Fenix.
For extra stuff I would use Mobiflight, which is great for encoders, potentiometers, switches, LEDs and LCDs which Spad cannot do. Plus Mobiflight has configs for Boeing planes using the FCU etc.
