Description: Taking off where we left off last time, we begin our 6th leg of our Spain tour in Elche Airport in Alicante, where we will fly along the famous “Costa Blanca”, arguably one of the most famous tourist areas of Spain, flying over places like “Benidorm” or Calpe, this leg features geographical features (“Piug Campana” or “Peñon de Ifaz”) that will make you fall in love with this area. We will be flying over one of the “top10/top 5 most beautiful towns in Spain” called “Altea la vieja”, an old castle/fortress ruin called “Castel de Guadalest”, a huge ROCK named “El peñon de Ifaz” and a collection of the most beautiful beaches one can imagine. With PLENTY of challenging landing opportunities along the way, among the orange and almond trees, I am confident you guys will like this area! Flying up the coast we will eventually reach Valencia, which is one of the top 5 biggest cities in Spain, home of the valencian Paella, one of the most famous dishes of Spain AND the so called “Tigernut milk” or “horchata”, which is a delicious cold summer drink that basically only exists in this corner of the world. And of course the famous “EYE SHAPED” building, featured in many movies and tv series. (for example WESTWORLD)
THIS FLIGHT WILL END in Valencia, however, for those of you who have a bit of time to spare, we will do a slight detour when reaching Valencia , to fly over a small “aerodrome”.

In-Flight Entertainment: Finding interesting places to land along the way and watch each other make a mess out of it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT LOADING FLIGHT PLANS: Due to the nature of how FS2020 loads flight plans, if you load the plans in the sim, it will place you on the runway. If you CHANGE your spawn location, the flight plan will turn into a straight “DIRECT GPS” line flight. I suggest, leaving the flight plan as it is, spawn on the runway without any fear, but get out of the way ASAP and park somewhere nearby.
