Description: In this short leg we take off near Cuenca and cross the plains and a huge water reserve before descending on Spain’s capitol, Madrid for a bit of guided sightseeing tour, where we fly over the city and check out some of it’s most interesting locations, before we land at a small airstrip outside the city.
Please note that we will be using the EAST USA server on this trip to see if it solves some of the lag issues we experienced last time. Due to passing through Madrid, which has a huge and busy airport, we will not be using the European servers, so others doing IFR flights in and out of Barajas Airport will not freak out when a bunch of GA Aircraft invade the airspace.
In-Flight Entertainment: Finding interesting places to land along the way, and a small sightseeing tour over Madrid.

You may want to try out the free Bonanza, Cessna Caravan, Savage Cub and XCub mods for better performance and shorter landings/takeoffs. Even if you don’t want to fly them, installing them will make sure that you see other player’s planes properly instead of a brown Bonanza.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT LOADING FLIGHT PLANS: Due to the nature of how FS2020 loads flight plans, if you load the plans in the sim, it will place you on the runway. If you CHANGE your spawn location, the flight plan will turn into a straight “DIRECT GPS” line flight. I suggest, leaving the flight plan as it is, spawn on the runway without any fear, but get out of the way ASAP and park somewhere nearby.
