Description: In this scenic leg we dive into the Guadarrama mountain range to the northwest of Madrid, hitting the famous El Escorial monastery, the Valley of the Fallen, an ominous reminder of the Spanish Civil War, and then visit ski resorts and rock climbing meccas. As we descend on the other side of the mountains, we take a quick detour to the medieval town of Segovia with its famous Roman aqueduct. After that it’s bush flying time again until a small airstrip at the foot of the mountains.
In-Flight Entertainment: Finding interesting places to land along the way and have fun with it.
The Monastery of El Escorial is a small but very useful addon to make the iconic building pop out as it should. (Framerate impact is negligible.)
The Segovia photgrammetry addon does some justice to the Roman aqueduct and the iconic medieval town, the backdrop for many period movies. (This might impact framerates slightly.)
LEFM is a small airstrip near Segovia, where we will be landing for a short break. This one is optional.
You may want to try out the free Bonanza, Cessna Caravan, Savage Cub and XCub mods for better performance and shorter landings/takeoffs. Even if you don’t want to fly them, installing them will make sure that you see other player’s planes properly instead of a brown Bonanza.

To see liveries properly, the Liveries megapack may be useful.
Liveries for the X-Cub mods are also available on the Bush League Legends website
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT LOADING FLIGHT PLANS: Due to the nature of how FS2020 loads flight plans, if you load the plans in the sim, it will place you on the runway. If you CHANGE your spawn location, the flight plan will either turn into a straight “DIRECT GPS” line flight, or your autopilot might not follow it. We suggest leaving the flight plan as it is, spawn on the runway, get out of the way and park somewhere nearby.
FLIGHT PLAN: final version coming soon
