Specialized keyboards?

What is that website? It’s not owned by Microsoft or Algato?

No it’s a third party distribution platform for FS Mods. Freeware and Payware. It’s the main one everyone uses for Freeware if you’ve not heard of it before. All good

Thank you for your excellent explanation and examples, Baracus250. Now I understand clearly.

So what does this plugin offer and how does it change the functionality of streamdeck? Just displays the numbers so they’re easier to see than changing view in cockpit? Can it be turned off if I don’t like it?

Why not just read the descrption on the page I linked? It will explain it far better than me as I am only using small parts of it in anger these days (in VR it is less useful lol).

Also refer back to my other post I wrote you ages ago (here: Specialized keyboards? - #27 by Baracus250) with links to some of the other options. There is tons you can do with it really - just experiment and search around!

This is the Category on fs.to: https://flightsim.to/explore/stream%20deck

Here are some well sorted payware layouts for example: https://store.flightsim.to/publisher/FlightPanels

All depends what you need from it or what you want to do I suppose but I think you need to be more open minded.

No. Not “just”…

Yes you can remove it / them if you don’t like it, or combine multiple things with any of the other things to get what you need in your layout and for your workflow.

Anyone know if once programmed on PC Streamdeck can work as a normal keyboard on Xbox?

Hopefully will have time to setup more in couple weeks when things settle down.

Not according to Chat GPT

Do you know if when hotkeying MSFS gives any feedback to Streamdeck? I think I manually turn off parking brake before taking off, but after I land and come to stop it automatically turns the parking brake back on. I wasn’t sure if I should bother making a toggle type switch if it doesn’t actually know if it’s on or off?

Not by default but the plugins I mention work that way as it’s talking via SimConnect to synchronise the toggle visual state. See my screenshot which has the Parking Brake at the top left, shows OFF or ON (arrow turns and light goes red).

I downloaded the free “flight tracker” and bought “Microsoft Flight Sim Profile Pack”. Not sure how to use it. The latter didn’t seem to change anything in the software.
