Hello, I cannot select the speed anymore while I’m flying unless I play with the throttle…it seems autothrottle is not working anymore for me since SU5. If I select a speed value/limit, then the plane continue to accelerate unless I manually cut the power. Anyone with the same issue please?
Exactly the same here. manual throttle is indicated even with AT engaged. Never had problems before. This is another SU5 issue… again!
I didn’t get the same issue when I fly yesterday. Usually if the manual throttle is shown on the FMA when A/T is on, then it’s usually the throttle lever is out of position.
Another issue that’s definitely MSFS related is the Temperature problem on Cruising altitude, when the TAT is suddenly showing high temperature on high altitude, it affects the air density and how it behaves in the aircraft. When that happens, the engine seems to be underpowered and will engage the Alpha protection making you unable to control any throttle until it can get out of it.
Is autopilot engaged along with autothrust?
If autopilot is not engaged, and speed is set to managed/selected, are you following the flight director?
Yes, it is engaged. But for clarity I was playing with no issues at all with the same MOD till few hours before the update. I had no problem to set speed before
