Hi, I think the issue you’re describing is this issue:

That bug report was sent up to the developers.

Thanks for the comment, but I would have to disagree that it is the same issue since this is only in daylight and has only appeared in the recent SU2 beta releases, whereas the other thread focuses on a light bloom of the alpha channel in nighttime situations.

I fly over London in daytime as a test for each beta release and it was not there until recently.
Wanted to report this separately as it seems to be a regression, and bring it to the attention of the developers, even if it is related to the light bloom issue. The artifacts look like they are windows that have a yellow mapping that should be off in daytime.

Thank you for the bug report.

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.

This is in SU1 as well.

It was introduced when the UK POIs were updated a couple of months ago. The LOD was fixed at the same time for the Gherkin, the London Eye and #1 Canary Wharf.

This is the case in Honolulu with the POI and check out Washington DC for a good example as well. It seems to be everywhere. I’m running SU2.

Is this the same problem with it looking like an incandescent light bulb at night? Seriously, it’s kinda blinding!

Seems to be fixed in SU4 beta build 1.6.15.0
