I’m doing the tutorial for Standard Traffic Pattern, and I get up to 5700 ft, turn left for crosswind leg, all good, and then turn left for downwind leg, and it never acknowledges my turn, so I can’t complete the tutorial. What might I be missing?
It is a bit hard to say without seeing it. I just gave it a quick go and it worked OK and seemed pretty forgiving.
Don’t try to “hit” the markers if that is what you are doing, just use them as a guide. And pay attention to your headings and probably especially altitude. The markers are often high so if you chase them then you will be more than 1,000 feed above circuit height and that might result in a fail.
I had a similar issue on this particular training which I solved by completing one full circle in the air. Maybe I was just out of the right path. Difficult to say but it was easily solved.
Same issue. What I did is restarted previous lesson with instructor, flew over airport in pattern noting where markers were located, and then did solo trying to follow same path. Worked just fine.
I had the same issue the first time around.
