Starting Flight With Misaligned Triple Monitors (3x rendered panels)

I have a triple monitor setup. I did my best to render two additional windows, one for the left and one for the right monitor to expand my field of view. These are in full screen mode along with my centre monitor.

When I launch a flight, my right monitor retains the desktop, while both rendered windows are on the left monitor. I have to go into the multi window settings, set each to rendered window to windowed mode for them to snap themselves into their respective monitor, then reset them each back to full screen mode. Is there any way to avoid this, or is this a common bug that won’t get fixed because MSFS is being abandoned?

I find it odd that in the multi monitor settings there are two instances of each of the rendered windows with the same settings, except one set is windowed mode, the other set is full screen. I have to change the full screen series to make the necessary adjustments. If I try to delete any, doing so can have weird results, like the preferred window being deleted.

No, MSFS 2020 is not being abandoned. Have you seen this thread?

Perhaps not abandoned, but likely not enhanced. (Adjusting Triple Monitors With Triple Window Rendering)

Yes, familiar with that thread. I have no issue with creating, configuring and aligning the rendered windows to my liking. That wasn’t my question. My question was why my rendered windows in full screen mode don’t go to their respective monitors when I start a flight. This thread was focused on performance, resolutions and actual process to setup.

Might be a Windows or driver issue? Works fine for me. They should align as your desktop does. Right to the right, left to the left etc. Mine are numbered 1, 3, 2 in that order, but I set it how I want it to look for windows desktop. If I misunderstood your problem, apologies

They have said they’ll continue working on it, improving it with technology they use in 2024 when it’s possible. Keep in mind the main point of 2024 was because they can’t do certain things with 2020 that they want to do.

Thank you. I’ll keep doing what I have to. Something went awry as it had worked last week. Perhaps I’ll just delete the rendered windows and start fresh and see if t hat has any positive impact.

What you can try is select/activate the main window with the mouse and press alt left key and enter key to switch from windowed to fullscreen and the same with the other two screens left and right from the main
Once it is set to fullscreen go to experimental section and delete the windowed screens and press apply (F11) to save.
Then restart the sim to see if it works.

( Reminder that Before you do to make a backup copy of the usercfg.opt
After all is working well you can delete this backup )

Also keep in mind that windows itself sometimes reset to default setting and leave monitors with different (for example when settings are out of bound or after updates)
order.
