Can’t figure out how to start in air at a specific altitude. When I choose a custom departure it always just says “-Airborne- 1500ft” but it always starts me at like 7500ft. Just trying to do some of my own landings and it’s putting me up way too high. Any help would be appreciated.
try via cruise altitude, did one hour ago cuz game crashed and i was at cruise altitude what was FL320
Yes, the system is a bit buggy at present. I found a very nice explanation and solution in this video, at 4:46:
Basically you have to manually modify the altitude by using the “Navlog” button in the upper right part of the screen.

Well, that got the altitude working, thanks!, but now when the flight starts my plane is pointed 90° away from the flight path! Wonder what’s up with that. This the bugginess you spoke of? Lol.
Yes. Also the author of the video mentions this problem. He uses Slew Mode to correctly reposition the aircraft heading. Check the video at 7:36 if you are unfamiliar with Slew Mode.
