ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: When in cockpit view in VR at undetermined points in the flight the mouse cursor starts to lag. To best describe it is that moving the mouse pointer does not fluidly move across the controls and screen. It appears the mouse temporarily sticks to a button, or control or switch as it moves across the cockpit. This gets progressively worse to a point where the sim is just not playable. Switching back to flat screen view the mouse then again moves fluidly across the cockpit controls with no lag. Some have suggested a noisy controller binding but I’ve removed all peripherals with only keyboard and mouse and this still happens in VR only suggesting a poor VR implementation with regards to mouse pointer click points. I’ve tried the different mouse interaction modes but same issue.

FREQUENY OF ISSUE

On every flight in VR

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load into cockpit

  2. Switch to VR

  3. Fly around and click around the cockpit

  4. After a while the mousse becomes sticky and sometimes it recovers

  5. Hard to reproduce exact circumstances of triggering the problem as it happens randomly with no clear event triggering this

YOUR SETTINGS

What peripherals are you using:

PC, Pimax Crystal Light, Quest 3, Saitek H56 HOTAS.

DX12

RTX 4090, 64GB RAM

MEDIA

Please add a screenshot or video of the issue occurring.

Yes , same for me sometimes

Im also experiencing this, but not all the time, and in random aircraft…. Sometimes, exiting and re-entering VR fixes it…

Ensure your rudder axis has a dead zone, or check for any controller axis that might not be returning to center, this is a known issue that causes the mouse to get clunky in VR.
