All,
I’ve seen this webstore a few times but, to be honest, it looks somewhat amateurish and I know at least one developer has had issues selling there. Can anyone offer any advice as to whether or not it’s safe/okay to buy from there?
Thanks in advance…
It’s more old than amateurish. Flightsim.com has been around since the beginning of the internet and used to be the best freeware source for mods for MSFS in the late 90ies and early 2000s.
The shop is trustworthy. I have bought several addons there for MSFS

Great, thanks. Delving deeper, it seems the developer in question did get a resolution but they didn’t elaborate any further.
I’m familiar with the original flightsim.com, from my days using FS98-FS2004 — I didn’t, however, realise it was them!
If in any doubt, do you know if it’s possible to transfer orders made there to other stores? I’m just a bit concerned by this one dev’s experience with them, irrespective of the fact there appears to have been a satisfactory outcome.

I assume that you are interested in the discounted add-ons from Drzewiecki. I have just checked this with Contrail. There you can easily request the transfer of addons from Flightsim.com to Contrail. Flightsim.com can be selected as a store in the selection menu for the order transfer request.

It’s great for cheap products, as you can get away without paying VAT in the UK/EU. However, I never got any notifications about product updates and most of the time they just weren’t available on the Flightsim website.
