Right, right, I need to be more active on the forum, so I can get more bug vote allowances so I can be a better beta tester for a game I paid full price for.
Crazy how it works like that
everybody with this issue using DLSS or DLAA?
Nevermind this, I was mixing it with the ghosting trail effect you get from light poles and such against the sky, which is caused by the Deep Learning Voodoo.
even with TAA, i have this issue
I tried without any AA, still happens. So def not AA related.
I see the same issue. I think it is a side effect of the cloud tech.
You also have this issue with textures, but I dont think this is the case this time around:
Same issue. Shimmering glow around trees on hillside against a dark sky. Iām using DLSS Performance, but switching to TAA didnāt make it go away.
They were seemingly able to fix it in 2020 when this bug snuck in a build back then, so i hope they can do the same in 2024. I fear the new trees could be a reason, but then again, why does it happen on terrain edges also then?
This is definitely a TAA problem (though it sounds like it happens in DLSS Performance as well), and was never fixed (for me) in FS2020 that I can recall, but possibly itās worse in 2024 due to the new lighting engine?
It is really annoying.
I can offer everyone to vote on this thread so Asobo might be looking into it.
I have never seen it in 2020ā¦
they need to fix this bug asap
there was a patch where it happened like it is now around tree edges, but Asobo fixed it ![]()
that bug also affected aircraft, but here the thread is from that time Glowing Aircraft and Objects - Outline around aircraft or objects
They also have to fix the trails that objects and planes leave in flight⦠itās not possible with a next gen simulator to see these artifacts⦠they have to fix it asap!
this bug is an immersion killer, itās not even tagged as ābug-loggedā
btw, this bug is very clearly visible at the very beginning of this weekās Low Altitude Challenge (SelenicĆ«). If you immediately dive close to the ground, the shoreline of water ahead and the nearby trees look weird (same glowing outlines as described above in the topic).
So itās noteworthy that the bug is also observed at the boundaries of objects in front of reflections of the dark sky! And I would say itās an even worse immersion killer, since glowing shorelines catch your eye even when you are in flight at significant altitude.
what a disgrace⦠when will they fix it???
can anyone tell if they solved this in SU1?!!
Still the sameā¦
