It seams like an UI problem. When you click on something on the game it flashes white. I am on Windows 11 on dx11 with a fresh instalation no add-ons

Also did video drivers change. Now on 526.86 .No joy and confirm on Win10 Pro 22H2 Build:19045.2251

The square appears in the menus, not in the game for me.

Same issue here, as soon as MSFS is staring the square comes on

I have a NVIDIA RTS 2060 , and it’s only MSFS that has this problem, tried on other games but there the square does not appear

Reported the same issue earlier. I’m happy to see I’m not the only one going crazy. I don’t think I can bear another reinstall.

I just spend more than 24 h to instal all the game and the new update on my new PC… I do not want to do it again and maybe have still the same problem. But if any of you do it and it get fix just tell here on the forum. Maybe there is a way to fix it without other update

I’m hoping by posting this; I’ll learn if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
I initially enrolled in the beta for SU11 and opted out a few weeks ago when this black square appeared on my screen and remained. I followed the steps to roll back to SU10 after seeing the global maps issue by deleting specific folders as requested, and the square went away.
Yesterday, SU11 was installed with no problems, and upon startup, the square reappeared. I did a vanilla install, deleted everything from the existing Community folder, and unfortunately, the square reappeared upon startup of the clean sim. It’s frustrating, but I wanted to gauge if anyone is currently experiencing this. I’ve opened a ticket and sent over several requested system info docs.
Am I on an island with this issue? I haven’t experienced any other issues beyond this one.
